The Space

Roland Stanley is a prominent entrepreneur and community leader based in Gainesville, Georgia. Inspired by his travels across Europe, where he developed a deep appreciation for authentic cuisine, fine wine, and hospitality, Roland returned home to co-found Cork It – Wine and Charcuterie, helping cultivate a vibrant dining experience. After a successful exit, he now focuses on his other ventures, shaping the North Georgia dining scene.

Roland is the sole owner of The Stag – Chophouse & Club, an upscale steakhouse in Gainesville featuring expertly crafted meats, fine wines, and classic American dishes. He is also a partner in several other notable establishments, including Caroline’s On Main, a lively Flowery Branch restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere and curated menu; Peyton’s Pie Company, a neighborhood favorite serving handcrafted pizzas; and WhistleQ, a downtown Flowery Branch BBQ spot offering smoked meats and Southern flavors.

Beyond business, Roland is deeply committed to community service. He serves on the Future Leaders Board at Peach State Bank & Trust and as a trustee at Center Point, an organization that played a key role in his life. His dedication extends to initiatives like Dancing for a Cause, supporting programs that uplift the local community.

From European traveler to influential entrepreneur and community advocate, Roland’s journey reflects his dedication to enriching the cultural and social fabric of North Georgia.
